I Have Often Told You Stories - Time Lapse of Suisun Marsh

Time lapse of clouds in and around Suisun Marsh in the northern San Francisco Bay Area make for a mesmerizing subject.

Time lapse taken in and around Suisun Marsh in the Northern San Francisco Bay Area. Shot with a Panasonic Lumix GX1 with 14-42mm kit lens and 45-200mm telephoto and MeFoto Roadtrip tripod. Processed RAW files in Adobe Lightroom and rendered in video using Frosthaus Sequence for Mac. Final edit done in iMovie.

Most of the clips were shot at 5 second intervals for 12 photos per minute. So, the math: 12 shots per minute rendered into video at 24 fps (frames per second) means that 1 second of video is 2 minutes of real time.

The day to night sunset with the reflection in the water was shot in Aperture Priority mode and rendered using Frosthaus Sequence with deflicker turned on.
